When a friend in the Living Single crew needs help, the others spring into action without hesitation. Well, there is some hesitation, jokes, and realness, but that comes with being in a cool group like that.

They did just that for Max in the episode "A Kiss Before Lying." Do you remember what happened?

Max bursts into Khadijah, Regine and Synclaire's apartment about something urgent. What does she say?
- Her ex-boyfriend, Greg, called and left four messages on her answering machine.
- Kyle called her and confessed his love.
- Her mother wants to set her up on a blind date.
What are her friends' responses?
- They told her to go on the date.
- They basically told her not to call him back and reminded her of what he had done in the past.
- They told her to go on a vacation.
What did Max's ex-boyfriend do?
- Stole $10,000 from her.
- Married another woman while in a relationship with her.
- They dated for five years, and when Max's career took off and his didn't, he left
What did Khadijah say when Max revealed that she listened to the voicemail eight times?
- "And maybe you forgot how trifling he was, but you still got dents in your butt from where he dropped you."
- "Don't be dumb Max, I can see it in your eyes."
- "Block that fool. It's simply as that."
Max replied...
- "I know, Khadijah, you remind me every five business days."
- "Maxine Shaw ain't no fool."
- "I just want Greg to know that I moved on and I'm doing fine without him, and I haven't given it a second thought."
After Khadijah calls Max weak for giving in and calling Greg, what happens?
- He tells Max that he's still in love with her and wants a second chance.
- He tells Max that he's only in town for one night and wants to have dinner with her...and he's bringing his fiancé.
- He apologizes to Max for breaking up with her and wants to be friends.
After running out of options for where to have dinner, Synclaire suggests their apartment to...
- Support Max and back her up
- Be nosy and see how his fiancé looks
- Play cards with Greg's new woman
While the women were in the kitchen preparing dinner, what did Regine suggest?
- That Max call the entire dinner off
- That Max doesn't answer the door when Greg gets there
- Max should call someone and ask him to be her date, since showing up single to dinner with her ex might make her seem desperate.

Max is having second thoughts but is already in too deep. After a brief awkward convo with Greg and his fiancé at the dinner table, what does Max do next?
- She answers the door and refers to Kyle as "Honey."

Max wants Kyle to pretend to be her man just for dinner. What does Kyle say?
- "That's disgusting, Maxine."

After watching Max suffer for a bit, Kyle then says:
- "Well, it looks like I'll be going back home."
- "Now look, I know we may go off on each other every now and again, but we're friends, right? And you're in trouble, baby. Of course, I'll help you out."
- "I want you to be my maid for a week."
In the end, Max tells the truth about lying and her friends lying to support her. What happens next?
- Max tells Greg that what bothered her was that he left without saying goodbye, but she's glad he packed his bags and made room for the right person to come along.
- Max tells Greg to never reach out to her again.
- Max tells Greg that he's a loser.
