''Here comes Jamie Foxx!'': Watch Jamie and his Kings Tower family all day long as we celebrate 30 years of the sitcom

He arrived in Los Angeles with a couple of bucks, a dream, and suitcases, but over the years he got much more than he imagined.

We're talking about Jamie King, played by Jamie Foxx, on The Jamie Foxx Show. When the main character of the '90s sitcom left Texas, he knew working at the Kings Tower (his aunt and uncle's hotel) was temporary. It lasted longer than he expected, but in the fourth season, Jamie moved on to writing jingles at Jingles 2000 and eventually made a living as a singer.

Throughout his journey, he got closer to his Aunt Helen and Uncle Junior, found a wife, Fancy, and a frenemy named Braxton P. Hartnabrig. That was 30 years ago, and we're celebrating the anniversary of The Jamie Foxx Show on Monday, September 7 with an ALL DAY marathon.
