Here's what Wendy Raquel Robinson loved the most about playing Tasha Mack
"This isn't a game; this is real life, Med School," Tasha Mack, the agent and supermom of the Sabers' star quarterback, Malik Wright, often reminded Melanie.
Played by veteran actress Wendy Raquel Robinson, Tasha was the oldest in the friend group (with Melanie and Kelly Pitts), so she often shared her wisdom and tried to teach her younger friends and her son the lessons she learned throughout life. Robinson was on the TV/film scene long before she starred as the character, playing Regina "Piggy" Grier, aka Boss Lady, on the hit '90s sitcom The Steve Harvey Show.
However, when she got the role of Tasha in The Game, it gave her a chance to step outside the high-class, sophisticated character and into one that was more raw and real. According to the actress, Tasha Mack was her alter ego.
"It's not that often that you get a role that you identify with and you love. And working with this cast that has become a second family and is so close is great. [Mack] is my alter ego," she said in 2010. "I'm pretty much a quiet person but I love how she's sassy. She's a relief for me on so many levels. I love her. She stands up for her son; she stands up for women — I can't wait to see where she will go."
