Remember that One on One spinoff Marques Houston starred in?

CBS Television Distribution

Marques Houston quit Sister, Sister because he felt Roger was interfering with his image as a musician. The annoying kid next door bothered Tia and Tamera every chance he got, often inserting himself in their business, either making their issue worse or doing nothing to help.

In reality, Houston was a popular singer in the boy band Immature (IMx) and wanted more of a "man crush Monday" type of image. That didn't mean he wanted to stop acting completely; he just wanted Roger to literally go away. As he got older, we saw him in movies like Fat Albert and You Got Served in 2004.

However, do you remember his One on One spinoff series called Cuts? In a few episodes of One on One, Houston played Kevin Barnes, Flex's youngest brother, and Breanna's uncle. Kevin is a celebrity barber who goes on the road with artists; one day, he returns to find out Flex is selling their family's barbershop.

Upset about not being part of the decision, Kevin wants to take over and buy the shop, but Flex doesn't think he can handle it. His big brother does give him an opportunity to come up with the money before he sells it to someone else, but Kevin doesn't get back in time. Kevin sells his Porsche to get the money, which causes an issue between the brothers.

Later, in a conversation, it was revealed that Kevin had been fired from being a rapper's barber because he cut his ear. He's owed $20,000 and steals the rapper's chain to get it.

Eventually, Flex and Kevin speak to the new owner, and Kevin becomes the manager of the barbershop. In the series, Kevin must work with the new owner's daughter to manage it, which isn't a "walk in the park."
