Brandy to release a new memoir this fall
2025 is the year of fearlessly speaking your truth, and Brandy Norwood is the latest celebrity to do so. The Moesha star and Grammy award-winning singer/songwriter revealed that she's releasing a memoir this fall.
PEOPLE Magazine had an exclusive scoop and broke the story of Brandy's latest project. According to the publication, the untitled memoir is expected to be released on October 7 and is currently available for preorder everywhere books are sold.
"I am so excited to finally share my full story in book form," Brandy said in a statement. "This memoir is the result of countless hours of reflection, work, and healing. I hope readers will find comfort and inspiration in these pages."
As a teenager, the 45-year-old made her mark in the music and television industries, with her debut album going quadruple platinum and her role in the hit TV show Moesha. She was placed into the box of a 'perfect princess', and the industry expected that image to follow her into adulthood, which was heavily draining.
In the memoir, she details everything she's faced, from bullying to heartbreak.
