Ice Cube and West Side Connection's appearance on The Jamie Foxx Show was TOO iconic

Warner Bros.

Being the relative of hotel owners certainly has its perks, but for Jamie King, it often means finding himself in hilariously sticky situations.

That's the plot of The Jamie Foxx Show, and although it sounds like it can get boring, the series found a way to keep the episodes hilarious by bringing in guest stars, for example. In the episode "Westside," hip hop icon Ice Cube showed up with his group West Side Connection and threw one of the wildest hotel parties at The Kings Tower. The main issue is that Jamie didn't ask his aunt and uncle if they could have the party there and lied to them when they suspected something was happening.

West Side Connection brought an entourage of hundreds of people with them, creating a mess at the hotel and even breaking down walls that connected each room. If you haven't seen this episode, you're probably thinking, "Where were Aunt Helen and Uncle Junior when all of this was happening?" They were visiting one of Junior's friends (that's the lie Junior told Helen. They were actually attending his friend's funeral.)

Eventually, Jamie controls everything, or at least that's what he thinks. When Helen and Junior returned, they attempted to hang up a picture (the wall was removed, but Jamie tried to hide it with wallpaper), but Helen fell through it.

It's a pretty funny and iconic episode, especially because West Side Connection was Ice Cube's second successful group (the first was NWA.) It also serves as a nostalgic time capsule, reminding us of the era when guest star appearances made 90s shows stand out.
