On the beaches, they collect valuable data from sea turtle nests, before visiting a marine laboratory in Sarasota where baby sea turtles are rescued and rehabilitated. They also meet the biologists battling to save manatees from starvation and collisions from boat traffic. Peter helps track down two vulnerable manatees that were saved by these conservationists and released back into the wild. The show also witnesses the triumphant release of one sea turtle who is released back into the Atlantic Ocean after being rescued and nursed back to good health.

Unable to accept the strain her charade is putting on her marriage, Synclaire reveals her true identity during an improv sketch. After helping Tripp out of a jam, Khadijah begins to believe that she has what it takes to be a big-time jingle writer--much to Tripp's annoyance.

Khadijah admits she loves Scooter, but isn't sure this is enough. They agree that work is no longer their top priority, and decide to build a new relationship.
