Overton surprises Synclaire by having a new bed delivered. (He had sold his favorite leather jacket to pay for it.) Regine's new relationship is complicated by the man's devotion to his dog, which he won't even keep out of the bedroom. Regine finally breaks up with him when it becomes apparent that he prefers the dog's company to hers. Regine, unaware of the potential harm, feeds the dog a chocolate treat.
